    This unit must be earthed. Use the earthed moulded mains lead supplied. Never use an unearthed plug or adaptor. Positioning Allow at least 10cm of space to the rear, sides and above the KIVOR INDEX. The unit has been designed to fit into a 19” rack. Cleaning Disconnect the KIVOR INDEX from the power supply before cleaning.

    Compression The KIVOR INDEX can be configured to compress the audio signal from a CD while it is archiving. Compressing the audio signal allows more CDs to be archived on to the KIVOR INDEX, however, adding compression reduces sound quality. Please note, archiving time is longer if compression is added.
