Starting Gate • Slide the tab near the starting gate to release it. Lift the starting gate. Red Start Lights Starting Arrow • Set the cars on each starting arrow. The red start light turns on when a car is placed on a starting arrow.
Ready - Set - Go! Light Post • Lift the light post. • Once both cars are on the starting arrows the lights on the light post flash red, yellow and then green to go!

• Shake the cars to start the “engine” and the sound effects. Note: For maximum distance, shake the car 7 or 8 times. Shaking more than this does not increase the distance it will travel. Pedals • Press the pedal next to each car to start the race! Note: If one car takes off before the green light, you will hear a buzzer and the lights will reset.
Battery Installation Base • Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of each car and the base. • Loosen the screw(s) in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door. • Insert three, new “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries in each car and the base.
