display will disappear.

Press the POWER button to turn off theVCR power. The
Timer lightwill appear.The Timer lightwill flashif there is not a
tape in the VCR.
If the timer recording will take place several hours or days from
now,you may use theVCR until time for the recording.Just turn
off theVCR a few minutes before the recording starts.
The VCR must be turned off for a timer recording
to take
place. If you forget to turn off theVCR, PLEASETURN OFFVCR
FOR TIMER RECORDING flashes on your TV screen two minutes
before a timer recording starts.You can remove the messageby
pressingthe CLEAR button.

place! Make sure there is a
tape in the VCR.

• To exit the VCR Plus+ programming
system at any time, press the STA-
TUS/EXIT button. The display will
disappear from the TV screen.
• If the preset time for a timer
recording comes up during an OTR,
the OTR has priority.
• To stop a started timer recording,
press the STOP/EJECTbutton on
the VCR.
• If the power fails for more than one
minute, programmed timer record-
ings may be lost. Reset the clock
before re-programming the timer
recordings.
• If you are using a Cable Box/DSS
Receiver, timer recordings are pro-
grammed differently. See page eight
for details.
