Using the timed baking and roasting features, upper oven onU
If your model has a door latch, do not lock the oven door with the latch during timed cooking. The latch is used for self-
cleaning only.
NOTE: Foods that spoil easily-such
as milk, eggs, fish, stuffings, poultry and pork-should
not be allowed to sit for more
than ;_hour before or after cooking. Room temperature promotes the growth of harmful bacteria. Be sure that the oven
light is off because heat from the bulb will speed harmful bacteria growth.

How to Set an Immediate
Start
and Automatic
Stop
Theupperovenwillturn on immediately and cook
for a selectedlengthof time.Atthe end of the
cookingtime,the ovenwill turn off automatically.

temperature.

NOTE: If#our reciperequires preheating, y ou

the cookingtime countdownand the changing
temperaturestartingat IO0°F. ( The temperature
displaywill startto changeoncethe oven
temperaturereachesIO0°F.) Whenthe ovenreaches
thetemperatureyouset,3 beepswill sound.
Theovenwillcontinueto cookfor the set amount
of time,then turn off automatically, u nless the Cook
and Hold featurewas set.Seethe Special f eaturesof
your ovencontrolsection.
Afterthe oventurns off,the end-of-cycle tone will
sound.

Touchthe Clear/Offpadto clearthe displayif
necessary. Remove the foodfrom the oven.
Remember, eventhoughthe oventurnsoff
automatically, f ood left in the ovenwill
continuecookingafter the oventurns off.
How to Set a Delayed Start and Automatic
Stop
Theupperovenwillturn on at the time of dayyou
set,cookfor a specificlengthof time and thenturn
off automatically.
Hakesurethe clockshowsthe correcttime of day.
TouchtheBakepad.
Touchthe numberpadsto set the desiredoven
temperature.

When the oven turns ON at the time of day
you set,the display will show the cooking time
countdown and the changing temperature
starting at IO0°F.(Thetemperature display will
start to change once the oven temperature
reaches IO0°F.)When the oven reaches the
temperature you set, beeps will sound.
Theovenwill continueto cook for the set amount
of time, then turn off automatically,unlessthe
Cook and Hold feature was set.Seethe Special
featuresofyour ovencontrol section.
After the oven turns off, the end-of-cycletone will
sound.

display if necessary. Removethe food

in the oven will continue cooking after the
oven turns off.
