Introduction to Digitizer MBX
in the format the machine can read...jpx for MC12000 or .jef for the
other Janome embroidery machines.
To use a USB memory stick, choose External Media > Write Design
and once again Digitizer will automatically write the design in the
format the machine can read.
Jpx and Jef fi les are stitches, which is the information the machine
needs to embroider the design. Use DigitzerMBX to write a design
and the conversion to a stitch fi le is automatic.
Once you have perfected the design you can then Save As or use
Design Gallery to convert the jan fi les to any machine format you
desire. You can even save the designs in many other domestic
and commercial embroidery formats for use in multiple brands of
embroidery machines.
To send several .jpx and .jef designs to the machine or the USB
memory stick, from the Standard Tool Bar, Click Machine/External
media > Send/Write Designs, Read, and Erase.

Printing Templates

Click File > Print Preview. The print
window will appear. On the tool bar
at the top of the screen the option
button will allow you to set up the
template as desired.
To make a simple placement template
click Options > Template Mode >
Clothsetter Marking > Print Now
