- Page 2 The jura’s drive unit is designed and manufactured by Rega to work specifically with a tweeter produced to our own specifications. This careful design allows us to use a simple cross-over, with the minimum of filter networks which compensate for drive unit problems.
- Page 3 jura manual.qxd 31/10/2003 10:37 Page 3 Sitting of the Juras The Jura loudspeakers use a rear facing port, allowing you to ‘tune’ the sound to your room and your personal taste. The closer to the wall the jura is placed, the more noticeable the bass response will be.
- Page 4 jura manual.qxd 31/10/2003 10:37 Page 4 Bi-Amping The Jura Loudspeakers have twin terminal connections to allow for bi-amping. This allows you to use a seperate power amplifier to drive the tweeter to the bass/midrange, providing greater seperation and control. For normal use simply use either the top or bottom pair of terminals to drive the tweeter and bass/midrange.
- Page 5 jura manual.qxd 31/10/2003 10:37 Page 5 Plugs and Cables We recommend using good quality cable such as our own. Be cautious of very expensive ‘solid core’ and OFC types as they often do not offer value for money. Try to keep cable runs to either speaker of similar length.
