Page 5: Setting Up The Mythos
Considering the extreme performance of the MYTHOS 2 analog processor, the connection between the components is also very critical. Use ultra-low reflection interconnect cables for the preamplifier and amplifier connections. In all cases, Goldmund recommends using the Goldmund Lineal Interconnect cables. -

2 gets quite hot. POWER SUPPLY The Goldmund MYTHOS 2 analog processor uses a power supply developed by Goldmund to provide totally separate voltage to each part of the analog circuitry. Your power supply unit has been set to operate with the mains voltage of your area. Check on the power supply voltage switch if there is any doubt. - Page 7 The power supply unit can operate indifferently with both 50 and 60 Hz AC line. NOTE Some components within Goldmund products take a considerable time to reach optimum performance temperature. They are designed to be powered on at all times.

A software routine successively tests the circuits inside the machine. POWER CONNECTION Connect the analog preamplifier outputs to the back panel digital inputs of the Goldmund MYTHOS 2. When the input source is connected, connect the analog output RCA jacks to the analog amplifier input using a high quality analog interconnect such as Goldmund Lineal Interconnect. -
