If you have a stereo VCR, you must make the A/V connections
shown in order to hear stereo sound while playing
a stereo tape.

sound audio, make the connec-

DIFFERENT WAYS TO LISTEN TO YOUR TV
TV Speakers
On
• SPEAKER EXT/INT switch in the INT (in-
ternal) position --
TV speakers are ON. Sound is heard from
both the TV's speakers and the external am-
plifier's speakers.
• Use TV's volume control to raise and
lower the level of sound being heard from
both sets of speakers.
TV Speakers
Off
• SPEAKER EXT/INT switch in the EXT
(external) position --
TV speakers are OFF. Sound is only heard
from the speakers connected to the external
amplifier.
• Use TV's volume control to raise and
lower the level of sound being heard from
the amplifier's speakers.
Surround
Sound
• Connect
surround
sound speakers
as shown.
The level of surround
sound will vary,
depending
on the program
being viewed.
Note that not all programs
have surround
sound audio.
• The SURROUND
SPKR
terminals
are
always
active.
The SPEAKERS
EXT/INT
switch does not affect the operation
of
surround
sound speakers.
