..,;TEP 2. MAKE VCR CONNECTIONS TO TV
If you have a stereo VCR, you must make either of the A/V
connections shown below in order to hear stereo sound
while playing a tape.

STEP 3. MAKE SURROUND SOUND CONNECTIONS TO TV
1. Mount and connect the optional surround sound
speakers by following the instructions provided with
the speakers.
2. Connect the two external speaker terminals. Ob-
serve polarity of the connections.
The level of the surround sourtd varies relative to the dif-
ference betwe,en the left- and :right-channel ,;tereo signals.
NOTE: The SURROUND St'KRS terminals are always ac-
tive. Therefore, the position o:F the SPEAKERS EXT/INT
switch does not affect the ope:ration of surround speakers.
