The Active Interface Shoe supplies
power to optional accessories such as a
video light, a flash, or a microphone.
Tile accessory call be t/lrned oil or off as
you operate the POWER switch on your
camcorder. Refer to tile operating
instructions supplied with your
accessory for details.
• When yotl COllllect all accessory, open l]le
shoe cover.
• Tile Active Interlace Shoe has a salcty
device fi)r fixing tile installed accessory
securely.
To connect an accessory, press
down and push it to the end. and then
tighten
tile screw. To relllOVe a ll accessoly,
loosen lhe screw, and thell press down and
pull out the accessory.
• Connecting with all external device wears
out the
bauery
pack laster.
• When you are recording movies with an
external flash (optional) connected to tile
accessory shoe, turn oll tile power of tile
external flash to prevent charging noi_
being recorded.
• You cannot use all external flash (optional)
and the built-in flash at the same tinle.
