Parental Control can be used to block sp_ific ch_nels, ratings _d other viewing sources.
The Parental Control Function (V-Chip) is used to b[_k program viewing based on the ratings sent by the broadcast station The
default setCflngis to allow a[[ programs to be viewed Viewing can be blocked by the type of program and by the categones chosen
to be blocked It is also possible to block all program viewing for a tim period, To use this function, the following must be set :
1 Ratings and categories to bo blocked,
2 Set a _ssw_ord
3 Enable the lock

Rating guidelines are provided by broadcast stations. Mo_ television programs _d television movies can be blocked by TV
Rating and/or hdividual Cate_ries. Movies that have boen shown at the theaters or direct4o-video movies use the Movie Rating
System (MPAA) only:
