IS COVERED?
Warranty coveragebegins the dayyou buyyour producefor one year
d_reafter (30 daysfor the projection "IV screen),all partswig be repaired
or replaced, and laborandtransportationare free. From oneto two years
from the day of purchase,you payfor the replacement or repair of all
parts exceptthe cathode ray tube andthe "Clear-Vu" lees,and for all
laborandu-ansportationcharges. A fter two yearsfrom the dayof
purchase,you payfor the replacement or repair of all parts exceptthe
"Clear-Vu" lens (which is guaranteedagainstmanufacturer's defectsfor
the lifeof the product), andfor all laborand transportation charges.
All parts, includingrepaired and replaced parts, are covered onlyfor
the original warranty period. When the warranty on the product
expires,the warranty on all replaced and repaired partsalsoexpires.
WHAT
IS EXCLUDED?
Your warranty does not cover.
labor charges for installationor setupof the product, adjustmentof
customer controls on the product, and installationor repair of
antenna systemsoutside of the product.
• product repair and/or part replacement becauseof misuse,
accident, unauthorizedrepair or other causenot within the control
of PhUipsConsumer Electronics Company.
reception problems causedby signalconditionsor cableor antenna
systemsoutside the unit.
• a product that requires modificationor adaptationto enableit to
operate in any country other than the countryfor whichit was
designed,manufactured, approved and/or authorized,or repair of
productsdamaged bythese modifications.
• incidentalor consequentialdamagesresulting from the product.

to provide service (althoughthere may be a delayif the appropriate
spareparts and technical manual(s)are not readily available).
