  • Page 8 R 7999 If you want to sew a few wide zigzag stitches while the machine is set for straight stitching (A on 0), merely press down the finger-tip control. When the lever is released, the machine resumes straight stitching automatically. To sew longer zigzag seams, turn dial A to desired stitch width (indicated by numbers I to 4).

  • Page 24 Longevity and smooth machine performance are dependent on regular and proper cleaning and oiling. Use Pfaff sewing machine oil only. Never lubricate machine with animal or vegetable oils. Remove all lint before oiling. All moving and rotating parts require regular lubrication. It is advisable to establish a pattern when oiling your machine.
