Forone yearfrom the dateof purchase,when your SearsKenmorewater heater is installed and operated in a single-family
residencein accordance with the instructionsin this manual, Searswill:
1. Repair defects in material or workmanship in this water heater, free of charge.
2. Furnish and install a new current model water heater of equal capacity and quality, free of charge, if a le_tkoccurs in the tank.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON TANKS THAT LEAK
After one yearand through 12 yearsfrom the dateof purchase for water heatersused in a single-familyresidence,ifa leak occursin
the tank, Searswill furnish a new current model water heater of equalcapacity and quality. Youwill be chargedfor any
installation.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON PARTS
After one year and through 12 years from the date of purchase, when your Sears Kenmore water heater is used in a single-family
residence and is installed and operated in accordance with the information in this manual, ifa part fails due to a materials or
workmanship, Sears will furnish a replacement free of charge. You will be charged for labor.
If the water heater is subjected to commerdal, institutional, industrial or use in residences of two familiesor more, the above
warranty coveragefor tanks that leak is effectivefor 2 yearsfrom the date of purchase and the aboveparts warranty is effectivefor 1
year from the date of purchase.

Compensation andPublic Liability.
