Pictureis too dark
Pictureis too light
Repositionthe camerafor moreavailablelight.
UseFillflash (page 19) or changeyour positionso light is not
behind the subject.
Move sothat the distancebetweenyou andthe subjectis within the
effectiveflash range(ElectronicFlash,page 53).
Toautomaticallyset exposureand focus,pressthe Shutterbutton
halfway. When the AF/AEindicatorturns green, pressthe Shutter
button completely down to take the picture.
Beforetaking a picture,usethe histogramto evaluatescene
brightness(page25). InAuto and SCN-Custom modes,adjustthe
Exposure Compensation.

Turnthe flash off(page 19).
