The self-timer lamp on the front of the camera will blink
immediately before the picture is taken. If the two-
second timer is selected, the self-timer lamp will blink
as the timer counts down.
::::i Because it ensures that the faces of portrait subjects will be in focus, Intelligent FaceDetection (pg. 24) is
::::irecommended when using tile self-timer for group portraits or self-portraits. To use tile self-timer with
::::ilntelligent F aceDetection, turn Intelligent FaceDetection on, set tile timer asdescribed in Step 1,and then
::::i press the shutter button all the way down to start tile timer. Tile camera will detect faces willie tile timer is
::::icounting down and adjust focus and exposure immediately before the shutter is released. Becareful not to
