• Storethe vacuum cleanerindoors.Putthe vacuumcleaneraway after useto preventtripping
accidents.
• Useonly battery(Hoover ® Part# BH50000) s uppliedby manufacturer t o operatethis product.
• Alwaysturn off and removebatterybeforeconnectingor disconnecting optionalmotorized
powerbrush, or beforeservicing.
• Do not disposeof batteryin a fire or trash compactor.Seebatterydisposalsectionat end ofthis
manualfor directions.
• Do not put anyobject intoopenings.Donot usewith any openingblocked;keepfree of dust,
lint, hair, andanythingthat may reduceair flow.
• Do not incinerate the charger,battery,or applianceevenif it is severelydamaged. T he batteries

Charge Battery
Charge battery fully before first
use Fullydischarged batterywill
take up to 3 hours to charge

Remove Battery
To remove and charge battery,
pull on release lever located
on end of battery and pull out
gently
Insert Battery
insert charged battery into
battery cavity until latch is
locked into place
NOTE:When inserting and
removing battery, ensure the
switch is in the off position
marked "0"
ON/OFF Switch
To turn vacuum on, roll switch
forward to position marked "F'
Dirt Cup & Filter Removal & Replacement
IMPORTANT: For best results, clean after each use.
REGULAR MA|NTENANCE: Each time the dirt cup is emptied, the filter should be cleaned.
(Filter wiil be discolored after use. This wiil not affect the filter's performance.)

Grip dirt cup and twist off in
direction indicated on hand
vac until unlock symbol is
aligned with mark.

Pull out filter and brush or
wash dean with cold water
WARNING:Always dry for
24 hours before replacing

screen, gently tap over trash

Replace filter in pre screen with
micro layer side facing out
Replace filter and pre screen
in dirt cup

Replace dirt cup by twisting
on in direction indicated on

Battery Fuel Gauge: Battery Capacity Indicator Information
All three LEDS will momentarily light when the product's power switch is turned on Then the Battery Fuel Gauge will
indicate the pack's remaining capacity as noted below NOTE: Unitand lightswillturnoffwhen batteryisfullydischarged
Once battery is fully discharged, return switch to off position

If a minor problem develops, it usually can be remedied quite easily when the cause is identified by using
