I used to be able to get my VCR to work with my TV, but that was long ago, and apparently I must have forgotten something. I thiink that I hooked it up as before because I made a careful not of what colours from the VCR plug into what hole. The VCR does its job, but the TV gets says on the screen "no signal." The TV has no antenna and no cable connexion. It is tuned to channel 4. The TV works with the DVD Player. The channel switch does not seem to have any effect. It makes feel stupid. Can you help?

To connect your LG TV to the GVR-F435 VCR to receive a signal:

1. Use a 75 ohm coaxial cable to connect the VCR's RF OUT jack to the TV's antenna input.
2. Set the VCR OUTPUT channel switch (on the back of the VCR) to either channel 3 or 4—choose one not used for broadcasts in your area.
3. Turn on the TV and set it to the same channel (3 or 4) selected on the VCR.
4. Make sure the TV/VCR selector is set to VCR to view the signal from the VCR.

This setup allows the TV to receive the VCR signal.
