- Page 3 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Remove the umbrella from the box. Insert the bottom pole (B) into umbrella base (sold separately). Use a heavy or weighted base to help stabilize the umbrella. Securely fasten the bottom pole (B) to the umbrella base. Hold the umbrella top (A) upside down and shake gently, allowing it to fall naturally into the open position.
