CAUTION: BEFORE PERFORMING ANY

Disconnect spark plugwire from
spark plugand place where itcannot
come in contactwith plug.

REAR DEFLECTOR
The rear deflector, a ttachedbetweenthe rear
wheels ofyour lawn mower,isprovidedto
minimizethe possibility that objectswill be
thrownoutthe rear of the lawn mower intothe
operatorsmowingposition. Ifthe rear
deflector becomesdamaged, it shouldbe
replaced.
TO ADJUST HANDLE
The handle on your lawn mower has three (3)
height positions - adjust to height that suits
you.
• Squeeze the bottom ends of lower handle
t, wards each other until the pin in handle
c;_n be inserted into one of the three height
adjustment holes.

ENGINE SPEED
Yourenginespeed has been factoryset. Do
not attemptto increaseengine speed or it
may resultin personalinjury. Ifyou believe
that the engine isrunningtoo fast ortoo slow,
take your lawnmowerto an authorized
servicecenter/department f or repairand
adjustment.
CARBURETOR
Your carburetorhas a non-adjustable fixed
main jet for mixture control. Ifyour engine
does not operateprope_ due to suspected
carburetor problems, take your lawnmower to
an authorized service center/department for
repairand adjustment.
IMPORTANT: Never tamper withthe engine
governor,which isfactory set for properengine
speed. Overspeedingthe ehgineabove the
factory highspeed settingcan be dangerous.
ifyou think the engine-governedhighspeed
needs adjusting,contact your nearest
AUTHORIZED service center, whichhas
properequipmentand experienceto make
any necessaryadjustments.
