in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act
This act requires the governor of California to publish a list of substances known to the state to cause cancei;
biIth defects or otheI iepmducOve ham, and iequires businesses to warn customeIs of potential exposme
to such substances.
Gas appliances can cause minor exposure to fore of these substances, namely benzene, carbon monoxide,
fbmlaldehyde and soot, caused primarily by the incomplete cotIlbusfion of natmal gas or LP fimls.
Properly ad]usted dryers will minimize incomplete combustion. Exposure to these substances can be
minimized filrther by properly venting the dryer to the outdoors.
