REARDEFLECTOR
The reardeflector, attached between therear
wheelsofyourlawnmower,isprovided to
minimize thepossibility thatobjects willbe
thrown outtherearofthelawnmower intothe
operetofs mowing pos_on. Ifthe rear
deflector b ecomes damaged, i t should be
replaced,
TO REMOVE/REPLACE DRWEBElT
• Remove drivecover. Removebeltby
pushing downon gearcase pulleyand roll
beit off.
• Turnlawnmower on its s ide with c arbure-
tor andfuelcapup.
• Removeblade.
• Removedebrisshield.
• Removebeltfromengine pulley on
crankshaft.
• Installnewbeltby reversing abovesteps.
• Always ussfactory approved beltto assure
fitandlonglife.

TOADJUSTHANDLE
The handle can be mounted in a high or
low position.
The mounting holes in the
bottom of lower handle are off center for
raising or lowering the handle.
• Remove upper handle and all parts
attached to lower handle.
• Remove hairpin cotters from lower
handle bracket mounting pin.
* Squeeze _ower handle in to remove it
from mounting pins.
•Tum
lower handle over"to raise or Iowe
handle.
• Squeeze lower handle in and position
holes onto mounting pins on handle
bracket.
• Reassemble upper handle and all part
removed from lower handle.
