MUFFLER
Inspect and replace corroded muffler as it
could create a fire hazard and/or dam-
age.
SPARK PLUGS
Replace spark plugs at the beginning of
each mowing season or after every 100
hours of operation, whichever occurs first.
Spark plug type and gap setting are
shown in =PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS"
section of this manual.
CLEANING
IMPORTANT: Forbest performance,
keep mower housingfree of built-up
grass and trash. Clean the undersideof
yourmower after each use.
_I,CAUTION: Disconnectspark plug wire
from spark plug and place wire where it
cannotcome in contactwith the spark
plug.
• Clean the undersideof your lawn
mower by scrapingto remove build-up
of grass and trash.
• Clean engine often to keep trashfrom
accumulating.A cloggedengine runs
hotterand shortensengine life.
• Keep finishedsurfacesand wheels free
of all gasoline, oil,etc.
• We do not recommendusing a garden
hose to ctean lawn mowerunlessthe
electricalsystem,muffler,air filter and
carburetorare coveredto keep water
out. Water in engine can resultin
shoflened engine life.
