Yourmower'sdeck is equippedwith a waterport on its surfaceas part
of its deckwash system.Usethe deck washto rinsegrassclippings
from thedeck'sunderside.
MULCH COVER
Themulch coveris usedfor mulchingpurposes.Insteadof collecting
the grassclippingsin a grass catcheror usingthe sidedischarge
Your moweris shippedas a mulcher.Todischargethegrass clippings
to the side instead,followthe instructionsin the Assemblysectionto
attachthe sidedischargecover.
Keephandsand feet awayfrom the chutearea on cuttingdeck. Refer
to warninglabelon the unit.
RECOIL
STARTER
The recoilstarteris attachedto the right upperhandle.Standbehind
the unit and pull the recoilstarterropeto startthe unit.
OIL CAP/DIPSTICK
Referto the Maintenance sectionfor instructionson checkingthe oil.
TRAIL
SHIELD
The trail shieldis attachedto the rear of the mowerand isthere to
protectthe operatorfrom flying debris.Do not usethe mowerunless
the shieldis fully functionaland in place.
