Check tl'ie installationby tuning in the radio first
The explanation below is an example of operation in the case where the front speakers are being used for
checking. If the center speaker and/or surround speakers are being used to enjoy the Dolby Pro Logic system or
SFC function, refer to pages 38-41 of the operating instructions.

will illuminate.

If the "TAPE MONITOR"
indicator is illuminated,
press this button to turn
the indicator off.
Press BAND

to select "FM" or "AM".
Turn
VOLUME to
adjust the
volume level,
Press TUNER.

DOWN
or
UP to tune to the
desired
broadcast.
If either button is pressed
and held down, the
broadcast stations can be
tuned automatically.
• If no soundis heardfrom speakers,please recheck all connections from step 2 to 5.
• When the unitis not used,turnthe poweroff.
When leftunusedfor longperiodof time the unitshouldbe unplugged from the householdAC outlet.
