    DRESS SAFELY. Nonskid footwear or safety shoes should be used when work- ing with this product. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry as they can become caught in moving parts. Wear a protective hair covering to prevent long hair from becoming caught in moving parts.
  • Page 4 PRIOR TO USING THE CEMENT MIXER, MAKE SURE YOU READ AND COM- PLETELY UNDERSTAND THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND THE GAS EN- GINE MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTION MANUAL. USE COMMON SENSE WHEN HANDLING GASOLINE. Transport gasoline only in approved safety containers. Do not refuel the Gas Engine with the Engine running or while it is hot.

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: All parts below refer to the parts listed and shown on pages 8 and 9 of this manual. CAUTION: Do not attempt to move the Cement Mixer when it is full and/or in operation. Place the Cement Mixer on a solid, flat, and level surface that is capable of sup- porting the weight of the mixer and it’s load.
  • Page 6 To discharge the cement mix, grasp the Hand Wheel (51) firmly with one hand and release the Brake Handle (60). Then, slowly turn the Hand Wheel counter- clockwise to empty the Drum (4). CAUTION: To prevent accidental discharge of the cement mix, do not release the Brake Handle without holding the Hand Wheel firmly.

    MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING CAUTION: Never perform any services or maintenance on the Cement Mixer while it is running. Before performing services or maintenance, turn off the en- gine and disconnect the spark plug wire to prevent accidental starting. Before each use, inspect the general condition of the Cement Mixer. Check for loose screws, misalignment, binding of moving parts, loose or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation.
