to remove
unneeded
portions
at the beginning
or end.

steps

choose

and press the <@>
button.
The movie editing
panel and editing
bar
are now displayed.

Specify portions to cut.
Press the <A><v>
buttons
to choose
[_;_] o r [_].
To view the portions
you can cut
(identified
by [o_] on the screen),
press
the <4><_>
buttons
or turn the <{_:_:>
dial to move [_. Cut the beginning
of the
movie (from [o_]) by choosing
[_],
and
cut the end of the movie by choosing
[_/_].
Even if you move [_] to a position
other
than a [o_] mark, choosing
[_]
will only
cut the portion
from the nearest
[o_] to
the left, and choosing
[rig] will cut the
portion from the nearest
[ok_] to the right.
Review the edited movie.
Press the <A><v>
buttons
to choose
[ _],
and then press the <@>
button.
The edited
movie is now played.
To edit the movie again,
repeat step 2.
To cancel
editing,
press the <A><v>
buttons
to choose
[:_D]. Press the <@>
button,
choose
[OK] (either press the
< _ ><_ > buttons
or turn the <@>
dial),
and then press the <@>
button
again.
