    Glossary Advanced Technology Attachment, is a disk drive implementation integrating the controller on the disk drive. There are several versions of ATA: ATA: Known also as IDE, supports one or two hard drives, a 16-bit interface and PIO modes 0, 1 and 2.

ROM stands for Read Only Memory. This memory can only be read-from but not written-to. SCSI SCSI stands for Small Computer System Interface. It is an I/O bus designed as a method for connecting several classes of peripherals to a host system without requiring modifications to generic hardware and software.
