TO REPLACE
HEADLIGHT
BULB
1. Raise hood.
2. Remove bulb holder from the hole in
the backside of the grill.
3. Replace bulb in holder and install bulb
holder securely back into the hole in
the backside of the grill.
4. Close hood.
INTERLOCKS
AND RELAYS
Loose
or damaged
wiring
may cause
your tractor
to run poorly,
stop running,
or
prevent
it from starting.
• Check
wiring.
See electrical
wiring
diagram
in the Repair
Parts section.
TO REPLACE
FUSE
Replace
with 28 amp automotive-type
plug-in
fuse.
The fuse holder
is located
behind
the dash.
TO REMOVE
HOOD
AND
GRILL
AS-
SEMBLY
1.
Raise
hood.
2.
Unsnap
headlight
wire connector.
3.
Stand
in front of tractor.
Grasp
hood at
sides,
tilt toward
engine
and lift off of
tractor.
4.
When
replacing
hood,
be sure to re-
connect
the headlight
wire connector.

ENGINE
Maintenance,
repair,
or replacement
of the
emission
control devices
and systems,
which
are being
done at the customers
expense,
may be performed
by any non-road
engine
repair establishment
or individual.
Warranty
repairs
must
be performed
by an autho-
rized engine
manufacturer's
service
outlet.
TO ADJUST
THROTTLE
CONTROL
CABLE
The throttle
control
has been preset
at the
factory
and adjustment
should
not be nec-
essary.
Check
adjustment
as described
below
before
loosening
cable.
If adjust-
ment is necessary,
proceed
as follows:
1. With engine
not running,
move throttle
control
lever
to fast position.
2.
Check
that swivel
is against
stop.
If it is
not, loosen
cable
clamp
screw
and pull
cable
back until swivel
is against
stop.
Tighten
cable
clamp
screw
securely.
TO ADJUST
CHOKE
CONTROL
The choke
control
has been preset
at the
factory
and adjustment
should
not be nec-
essary.
Check
adjustment
as described
below
before
loosening
cable.
If adjust-
ment is necessary,
proceed
as follows:
1. With engine
not running,
move
choke
control
(located
on dash panel)
to full
choke
position.
2.
Loosen
knob
and remove
cover
as-
sembly
from air cleaner.
3.
Choke should be closed.
Ifit is not, loosen
casing
clamp
screw
and
move
choke
cable
until
choke
is completely
closed.
Tighten
casing
clamp
screw
securely.
4.
Replace
air cleaner
cover
assembly
and tighten
knob.
