You can choose the subject you want to focus on and shoot.

Choose [Tracking AF].
Press the
MENU
button to choose [AF
Frame] from the O tab, then press the ,_
buttons to choose [Tracking AF].
will appear in the center of the screen.
Choose t hes.bjecttofoc.son.
Point the camera so that _ is on the
subject you want to focus on and press the
,_ button.
The camera will beep and _L_ will appear
when a subject is detected. The camera
will continue to track the subject within a
certain range even if the subject moves.
If the camera does not detect the subject,
will appear on the screen.
To cancel tracking, press the ,_ button
again.
Shoot.
Press the shutter button halfway. _ _ will
change into a blue [] which will follow the
subject while the camera continues to
adjust the focus and exposure (Servo AF)
(p. 97).
Press the shutter button fully to shoot.
Even after shooting completes, _ _ will
appear, and the camera will continue to
track the subject.
