Setting the Date and Time
When you turn on the power for the first time or if the date/time has
been reset, the DatefTime setting screen will appear. Follow steps 3
and 4 to set the date/time. Note that the dateRime appended to
recorded images wHJbe based on this date/time setting° Be sure to
set the correct date/time.
Display the menu.
® Press the <MENU> button to display
the menu.
_ Under the [_=] tab, select [Date/
Time].
® Press the <@_> key to select the
[_=] tab.
® Press the < AV' > key to select [Date/
Time], then press <_>.
':_._ Set the date and time.
® Press the <4_> key to select the
date or time number.
® Press <_> so <©> is displayed.
® Press the <AV > key to set the number,
then press <_>. (Returns to D.)
_ Exit the setting.
_ Press the <@_> key to select [OK],
then press <_>.
_,, The date/time will be set.
® Press the <MENU> button to return
to the shooting settings display.
_¢ If you store the camera without the battery or if the camera's battery
becomes exhausted, the date/time might be reset. If this happens, set
the date/time again.
