Inspect blades for wear. Replace if necessary pull the two sections apart, apply thin coat of multi- per paragraph 4-5. Use only genuine Locke Turf re- purpose grease to outside of inner (male) section. Re- placement parts. If it is necessary to sharpen the assemble sections and install. -
Page 14: Spindle Belt Adjustment
Tighten the jam nuts on the adjustment rods. 4-4 SPINDLE BELT REPLACEMENT 5. Replace all shields before operating ma- chine. Use only genuine Locke Turf replacements parts. It is not necessary to replace both belts if only one is worn. Lower Adjustment Rod & Spring Flip up black latches and remove right and left side shields. -

4-6 BLADE SPINDLE SERVICE If shaft bearings or other parts require replacement, it is recommended that a Locke Turf dealer or other quali- fied person service the blade spindle. If blade spindles must be disassembled, a special wrench kit must be used to prevent damage to the assembly. -
