Using the Remote Control

The following buttons can be used to operate the Surround Sound Processor.

1 SURROUND/DATA FORMAT Buttons
Press the PLIIx, SUR. MODE, CES7.1 or NEO:96/24
button once to select a surround format.
Press the same button again to cycle through the various
processing modes available for the select format.
2 ANALOG 7.1A Button
Pressing the ANALOG 7.1A button selects the analog
signals from the 'A' Multi Channel inputs on the back
panel of the Cinema 6.
3 INPUT Buttons
Press the button to switch the source of your Cinema 6.
Each time you press a button the remote will change to
the source selected.
4 TEST Button
Starts an audio test tone for calibrating and setting
speaker balance levels.

5 MUTE Button
Mutes the main volume of the Cinema 6.
6 NAVIGATION and SELECT Buttons

Use the four Navigation buttons to move through menu options
shown on the Cinema 6 Display or OSD.
Use the SEL PLAY button to confirm selections made in menus.
7 ANALOG Button
Press the button to switch the source of Analog input.

8 DIGITAL Button
Press the button to switch the source of Digital input.

9 SOURCE Buttons
Press the buttons to switch the source of your Cinema 6.

Each time a source button is pressed, the remote control changes
to the source selected.

10 2XF Button
Press the button to choose normal or 2x the D/A sample rate.

11 VIDEO Button
Press the button to manually select the video input sources.
12 ZONE Button

Press the button to switch Zone 2 output sources.

13 STEREO Button
Press this button to provide conventional 2 channel signals
to left and right front speakers only.
14 POWER Button
When this button is pressed once, the Cinema 6 power turns ON.
When pressed again, the Cinema 6 enters STANDBY.
15 VOL Buttons
Press the buttons to adjust the volume of the Cinema 6 from

-90dB to +15dB.
16 ANALOG 7.1B Button

Pressing the ANALOG 7.1B button selects the analog signals
from the 'B' Multi Channel inputs on the back panel of the

Cinema 6.

17 EXIT Button
Press the button to exit the main menu.
18 MENU Button
Calls up the Main Menu on the Cinema 6 display and the OSD, if
active.
19 SELECT Button
Use the four Navigation buttons to move through menu options
shown on the Cinema 6 Display or OSD.
Use the SEL PLAY button to confirm selections made in menus.
20 AUTO DETECT Button
Press this button to auto select the digital audio input sources and
video input sources.
21 AUTO DECODE Button
Press this button to auto decode the surround sound mode.
22 DIRECT Button
Press this button to select the signal of analog input to use
ANALOG IN or use Analog to Digital Converter (LPCM).
23 AUDIO Button
Press this button to manually select the audio input sources.
24 LATE Button (for Dolby Digital only)
Cycles through the various night dynamic range compression modes.
25 BRIGHT Button
Press to switch the Cinema 6 display brightness levels.
