FAST CHILL/FAST FREEZE

FAST CHILL

The FAST CHILL function is suited for quick cooling of large quantities
of goods in the refrigerator, e.g. drinks and salads for a party.
0 To switch on the FAST CHILL function first press the temperature regu-
lator for the refrigerator. The temperature regulator pops out of its
recessed position. The flashing temperature display shows the refrigera-
tor temperature setting.
0 Press FAST CHILL/-FREEZE button. "IC" appears in the refrigerator tem-
perature display for intensive cooling.
0 Return refrigerator temperature regulator to its recessed position. The
temperature display continues to indicates "IC", until the FAST CHILL
function is ended.
During the FAST CHILL function a SET temperature of +2°C is automati-
cally selected. The FAST CHILL function will stop automatically after a
period of 6 hours. At the end of this period the display will show the
the originally SET temperature.
0 You can stop the FAST CHILL function manually at any time by follo-
wing the above steps, which are required for starting the FAST CHILL
function.

FAST FREEZE

The FAST FREEZE function provides for quick freezing of fresh food pro-
ducts, and at the same time protects previously stored goods against
undesired warming in the freezer compartment.
0 To start the FAST FREEZE function press the FAST CHILL/-FREEZE button.
When the FAST FREEZE function is switched on, the yellow indicator
light next to the button lights up.
The appliance electronics automatically recognize, when the fast free-
zing process can be ended, and automatically switches off the FAST
FREEZE function (after approx. 30 to 51 hours, depending on the quan-
tity of food to be frozen).
