If a problem arises

The flash does not fire
The picture cannot be played back
The date recorded in the picture data is wrong

Corrective action
Select a flash mode other than
[$].
If you want the flash to fire on a
brightly illuminated subject, set
the flash to [#].
Turn the camera ON.
Turn the mode dial to set at q or
press the QUICK VIEW button.
Record pictures before playing
back.
To avoid camera malfunction,
do not change the information
on the card with a computer.
Set the date/time. The date
and time are not set at the time
of purchase.
