Important Handling Information Carrying DA-300E: DA-300E contains sensitive components, including in some cases, a hard drive. Do not bend, drop, or crush DA-300E. If you are concerned about scratching DA-300E, you can use one of the many cases sold separately. Using connectors and ports: Never force a connector into a port.

3. Hold down the “POWER” button for 2 seconds to turn DA-300E on. The backlight will come on and you will see the ’Welcome to Arion’ logo on the display. 4. During the first time usage or when there is no preset station, DA-300E will be switched into DAB mode and automatically scan available stations.
DAB Mode When you first power on DA-300E or switch into DAB mode, DA-300E performs an autoscan to find all the DAB stations available in your area or tunes the stations. <DAB LCD Screen> To listen to DAB at any other time, press the “MODE” button and select the ‘DAB’ mode using the “OK” button.

MP3 Mode MP3 mode enables you to play MP3, Audio book, and recorded radio files at anywhere. DA-300E has an internal memory and supports the SD type memory card. To insert an SD card, push the card in the SD Card slot on the side. To remove a card, push the card in slightly and it will pop out so you can remove it.

Repeating Fixed Section 1. Press the “PRESET” button to set the start position of repeating block (A↔B) during the playback(A). 2. Initializing SD Card You can use the SD card after the initialization. If there is a SD card reading error, you should initialize your SD card. 1. Insert the SD card into the SD slot. 2. Initialize the SD card automatically and sort the available file. It will take time according to file size and numbers.

Using as an External Disk You can use DA-300E as an external disk to store files. Press the “MENU” button in the ‘MP3’ mode. Select the ‘USB CLASS MODE’ – MSC(MASS STORAGE) in order. If you connect DA-300E to PC using the USB cable, PC automatically displays DA-300E by ‘USB STORAGE’.
Charging Battery When the battery icon is blank, please charge the battery for at least 6 hours. Only after the battery is charged fully, DA-300E can be operated normally. Please recharge the battery regularly to maintain properly operation or prepare the spare batteries. You can charge the battery in two ways: 1) Connect DA-300E to PC, 2) Use the USB Adaptor 1.

2. Connect DA-300E to the USB Adaptor using the USB cable. Plug the USB adaptor into a standard AC wall outlet. While charging, you can use all function except the USB execution mode. The battery has a limited number of recharge cycles and might eventually need to be replaced. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will gradually wear out.
Updating Software You can update your software. It is recommended that you update DA-300E to use the latest software. 1. Hold down the “POWER” button for 2 seconds to turn DA-300E on. 2. Press the “MODE” button, and then select the ‘MP3’ mode using the “OK” button. 3.
Troubleshooting If DA-300E does not work properly after checking it, please contact the dealer. Don't open the cover. It may result in a dangerous electric shock and will invalidate your warranty. 1. DA-300E has no power. Check that your batteries are not drained, that they are inserted correctly, or that the contact pins are clean. 2.
