The HP EVA Storage Virtualization Adapter is now able to discover DR LUNs when discovering
replicated LUNs in the EVA array.

Prerequisites

• A server with VMware Site Recovery Manager
• The following licenses must be installed on the local (protected) and remote (recovery) EVA disk
arrays:
• HP StorageWorks Continuous Access EVA
• HP StorageWorks Business Copy EVA
• MSXML 6.0 should be installed on both the local (protected) and remote (recovery) SRM servers
• The HP StorageWorks EVA Virtualization Adapter supports HP Command View EVA versions 9.1
or 9.2

Installation instructions

The HP StorageWorks EVA Virtualization Adapter needs to be installed on both the local (protected)
and remote (recovery) SRM servers. For instructions, see the HP StorageWorks EVA Virtualization
SRM Adapter administrator guide.
NOTE:
After installing, the VMware Site Recovery Manager Service must be restarted on the protected and
recovery servers.
