Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the optimum picture quality.

  • Page 51 To use the ISM Method ❐ SETTINGS ➾ OPTION ➙ ISM Method This function removes image sticking which is caused by prolonged display of static images. • Normal: Minimizes image sticking by gradually lowering the brightness when displaying static images and by increasing the brightness when displaying moving images.
  • Page 52 • Color Wash: Removes image sticking by moving every pixel in a certain pattern on the screen for a specific period of time. Please use this function to remove temporary image sticking. ✎ Image sticking is commonly known in plasma TV when it displays static images for a long time.

    Image problem ❐ SETTINGS ➾ Customer Support ➙ Picture Test Conducts Picture Test first to verify that image signal output is normal. When the test image is normal, check connected external devices or broadcast signal. ꕢ Images from the previously viewed channel or other channels linger or the screen shows annoying lines.
