Warning: The charger won't reset if you only unplug the 30-pin/USB cable
from the charger. To reset the charging cycle, remove the cigarette
adapter from the cigarette socket, then re-insert.

Security by automatically shutting off circuitry after eight hours of
charging. This is to shield against unwanted charging after the
device has been charged for more than eight hours. To reset and
begin charging again, simply unplug the car charger, plug it back in,
and the eight- hour charging mode begins.
To charge your iPod or other USB 5V device:
1 Plug the car charger into the cigarette lighter socket and connect
with your device. The device will start charging and the LED will
turn red. After eight hours, the circuit protection turns off power to
prevent damage from overcharging and the LED turns off.
2 If your device needs more recharging after eight hours, unplug the
car charger, then plug it back in again. The circuit protection resets
