When the camera and TV are connected, you can also shoot while
previewing shots on the larger screen of the TV. To shoot, follow the same
steps as when using the camera screen. However, AF-Point Zoom (= 7 2)
and MF-Point Zoom (= 1 03) are not available.

Powering the Camera with Household Power

Powering the camera with AC Adapter Kit ACK-DC40 (sold separately)
eliminates the need to monitor the remaining battery level.

Make sure the camera is off.

Insert the coupler.

Follow step 2 on = 2 0 to open the
cover.

Insert the coupler facing the direction
shown, just as you would a battery
(following step 3 on = 2 0).

Follow step 5 on = 2 1 to close the
cover.

Connect the adapter to the
coupler.

Open the cover and insert the adapter
plug fully into the coupler.

Connect the power cord.

Insert one end of the power cord into the
compact power adapter, and then plug
the other end into a power outlet.

Turn the camera on and use it as desired.

When finished, turn the camera off and
unplug the power cord from the outlet.
