• File No. Reset Settings

The camera automatically created a directory of folders
memory or on a memory card to store pictures/video clips. Each folder
can hold up to 999 pictures. If a picture is taken when the current folder
contains a picture file numbered 0999. Your camera will create a new
folder by adding one to the current folder number. In the new folder,
the picture file numbering starts over from 0001. (For example, if the
current folder is "100V5000", the new folder will be "101V5000"). The
maximum folder number is 999.
For example: 10 0 - 0 011
You can set the File no. Reset to On or Off according to the following steps:
1. Turn on the camera by sliding and holding the Power Switch in the
arrow direction shown near the switch for 2 seconds.
2. Set the Camera in Auto mode.
NOTE:
This setting is not avaliable in Playback mode.
