REAR PANEL

THE bACK PANEL LAYOUT OF THE MAXCOM


. AC jACK & AC FUSE HOLDER
Please note that, depending on the main voltage supplied to the unit, the correct fuse type and rating must be
installed.
. AC vOLTAGE SELECTOR:
This selector allows choosing the supply voltage for the MAXCOM from either 115Vac or 230Vac. The supply
voltage can only be selected by a SERVICE CENTER.
. OUTPUT jACKS
There are two audio outputs: XLR (wired: pin1&3 ground, pin2 high) and 1/4" jack (mono connector) for each
channel of the MAXCOM
. INPUT jACKS
There is one XLR audio input (actively balanced and wired: pin1=ground, pin 2=high and pin 3=low) for each
channel of the MAXCOM. Additionally there is one 1/4" audio input jack for each channel which is actively bal-
anced and are wired: tip =high(+), ring=low(-), and sleeve=ground. When a mono unbalanced connection is
made this jack is wired: tip = high(+), and sleeve=ground.
. SIDECHAIN INSERTS
These are the insertion point which enable the unit to be controlled externally. You can use the connector as a
pure input (mono jack connector) or as an insert (stereo jack connector). In this case please use a special insert
cable which splits up one stereo into two mono jack connectors. The ring of the SIDECHAIN connector carries
the units output signal and the tip receives the processed signal from an external unit.
