Allowing Automatic logon enables IE to transfer credentials to machines in the trusted zone without user interaction.
When this is combined with the IIS setting to use Integrated Windows Authentication, the result makes the login
process resistant to spoofing and cross-site attacks. Under this configuration, login prompting does not take place
within the context of the browser, but rather within the Windows login system, which is substantially resistant to such
attacks. Users are advised to treat VCM login prompts with caution and skepticism since such prompts are possibly
an indication of attack.
