How do I bold, italicize, or
underline words?

You can apply formatting to the last words you said, or to selected text,
by saying "Bold That,"* "Italicize That,"* or "Underline That."*
To apply bold, italics, or underlining:
Dictate the sentence below.
Dictating might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but it gets easier with
practice.
Say "Select might."
The word "might" should be highlighted on the screen.
Say "Bold That" to apply bold formatting.
Say "Select uncomfortable at first," (to select the words "uncomfortable at
first").
Say "Italicize That" to apply italics.
Say "Select practice" (to select the word "practice").
Say "Underline That" to apply underlining.
NOTE
You can also use your voice to change the font face, style, and size or change
how text is aligned. Learn how in Chapter 5 of your Dragon NaturallySpeaking User's
Guide.
* You can use this command only in certain programs: the Dragon NaturallySpeaking
