Slide the player towards the LCD screen until the lock/unlock button latches. N N O O T T E E : : If the DVD player doesn’t power up correctly, remove the player (see instruc- tions below) and then re-install.

You can use single side and dual layer DVDs, VCDs, CD-audio and CD-R compatible 12cm discs with this system. N N O O T T E E : : When playing discs with the DVD player removed from the monitor, the player must be in a horizontal position.
Select video source (DVD). N N O O T T E E : : If there is no disc in the DVD player, a “N N O O D D I I S S C C ” message will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.

PLAY and press the ENTER button on the remote control. The program will be retained only as long as power is on to the DVD player or the disk or memory stick that is being programmed is mounted in the system.

Are there obstacles obstructing the view between the monitor and the remote. The distance between the remote and monitor is too great. The remote is not being pointed at the IR receiver on the DVD player. The batteries in the remote are weak.
