  • Page 2 DESCRIPTION The PDR-2000 Ethernet I/O module provides high-speed Ethernet communication capabilities for the PDR-2000 teleprotection system. This module serves as the interface between the PDR- 2000's internal synchronous communication system and external asynchronous Ethernet networks, supporting both standard Ethernet and GOOSE (Generic Object Oriented Substation Event) messaging protocols.
  • Page 3 Ethernet network. The Network ID numbers must be the same for all units communicating with each other. The PDR-2000 logic needs to be configured to allow packets from another PDR-2000 to key outputs. These settings are in the RX Logic of the PDR-2000 GUI.
