Overview Thank you for purchasing from Real Tech Inc. The Real Pump Clean System I is an automatic chemical cleaning and pumping system for use with the Real UV254 M2000 or M3000 series online monitors. The purpose of the system is to reduce fouling of the flow cell within the analyzer.

Real Pump Clean System I v 2.1 Assembly Mount the wash bottle holder on the Real Pump Clean System I with two screws as shown in Figure 5.1. Fittings are supplied with the holder. After mounting the enclosure, fill the 1L wash bottle with cleaning fluid.

Real Pump Clean System I v 2.1 Electrical Connections The power and communication line from the M Series analyzer feeds into the Real Pump Clean I system via an electrical conduit fitting at the bottom of the cabinet. The system is powered and controlled through the connected M series analyzer.

Real Pump Clean System I v 2.1 Start Up and Operation Start Up Once plumbing and electrical connections have been made, you need to enable the cleaning system and enter settings for cleaning configuration. This is accomplished through the M Series Analyzer’s Operator Interface.

Real Pump Clean System I v 2.1 2. Scroll down from the last entry until the +Clean Frequency menu is displayed. Expand the menu by pressing the Enter button. Seven selections are available. The default is 4: 3 days. De-select a frequency by scrolling to it, and then pressing Enter to remove the checkmark.

Real Pump Clean System I v 2.1 Operation Pictured in Figure 6.1, the Real Pump Clean System consists of a process pump with a direct drive DC stepper motor, a chemical pump, and a 1 L chemical cleaner storage container. The cleaning process can be initiated automatically on a preselected time interval or can be manually triggered.

Real Pump Clean System I v 2.1 Cleaning The Real Pump Clean system comes with a 1L chemical storage bottle. After a cleaning cycle, approximately 85% of the cleaning fluid is pumped back into the bottle reducing the need to replenish the fluid on a regular basis.
