    4. INSTALLING DRIVERS Download drivers or firmware updates for your Razer Blade 18 and other supported Razer peripherals, and customize all your Razer devices’ advanced settings and lighting effects. When logged in, these custom settings are automatically stored to the cloud so that they can be accessed from any computer.

    Decrease ( ) or increase ( ) the brightness of the keyboard. Assign a sequence of actions to a key for one-touch repetitive tasks. Use Razer M1 - M4 Synapse to set up any of these keys. ** Open in-app context menus.

    LAUNCHING RAZER SYNAPSE To launch Razer Synapse, click the search icon in your taskbar, type Razer Synapse, and select the app from the search results. Alternatively, if Razer Synapse is already running, you can click the Razer icon ) in the system tray and select Razer Synapse to launch it.
  • Page 10 Minimize Clicking this button will minimize the app to the taskbar while it runs in the background. Maximize This button expands the browser window to fill the entire screen. To restore the window to its original size, click the maximize button again. Close This button will close all relevant tabs and terminate the application completely.

  • Page 12 Gamer Room The Gamer Room subtab shows all devices with the Razer Aether Light feature. From here, you can view and manage your Gamer Room-supported devices. Synapse Override This section allows you to select and customize your device’s lighting and make it react to Chroma- enabled games and Chroma Connect apps using Razer Synapse.

Global Shortcuts Bind operations or Razer Synapse functions to custom key-combinations from any Razer Synapse- enabled device inputs, which apply across all device profiles. Only Razer Synapse-enabled device inputs will be recognized.
  • Page 14 BLADE 18 The BLADE 18 tab is the main tab for your Razer device. This tab allows you to customize your device’s profiles, key assignments, gaming mode settings, trackpad options, lighting, and power saving features. Any changes under this tab will be saved automatically to your local system and cloud storage.
  • Page 15 Profile Profile is a data storage system that keeps all your Razer peripheral settings. By default, the profile name is based on your system’s name.   • Page 17 Upon selecting an assignment, you may then change it to one of the following functions: Default This option enables you to return the selected key to its original setting. Keyboard Function This option changes the key assignment into a keyboard function. You can also choose to enable Turbo mode, which allows you to emulate repeatedly pressing the keyboard function while the key is held down.
  • Page 18 This function will only be visible when the Chroma Studio module is installed. Razer Hypershift Setting the key to Razer Hypershift will allow you to activate Hypershift mode if the key is held down. Launch Launch Program lets you open an app or a website using the assigned key. When you select Launch Program, two choices will appear, requiring you to search for a specific app you want to open or write the website address you want to visit.

  • Page 20 Performance The Performance subtab allows you to customize your system’s capabilities. The settings below will impact the overall state of your laptop such as clock speed, power consumption, and thermals. Performance Modes Select from a set of modes that adjusts the system’s performance, fan speed, and power usage to optimize it for different tasks.

Laptop Display Calibration View the calibration report which allows you to know if your Razer Blade has fulfilled the Calman- verified criteria. Audio Equalizer Select any available equalizer preset created for the best audio experience designed for gaming immersion, movie viewing, enjoying your favorite music, or enhancing vocal clarity and presence.

  • Page 24 This power saving tool which allows you to disable your device’s lighting in response to your system’s display turning off and/or automatically power down when your Razer Blade 18 has been idle for a set amount of time. Toggle the Link option ( ) if you want to use a single switch off lighting setting and set it to turn off when the device’s battery level is below a certain percentage.

From here, you can search for a specific macro, sort your macros, create a new folder, and create a new macro.
