The Alumine Five is hand-built to order in Stenheim’s manufacture in Switzerland and is available in three versions, the standard Alumine Five, the Alumine Five SE and the Alumine Five SX. The SE version or Special Edition, boasts even higher grade crossover components and specially designed internal wiring.

Alumine Fives. Single-wiring The Alumine Five is equipped with two rows of binding posts to enable bi-wiring or bi-amping. There are sonic advantages to doing one or the other and you will gain the best sound from your Alumine Fives by employing one of them.

0, -1 or -2. This will have the effect of attenuating the bass or treble response respectively by 1 or 2 dB. As standard, the Alumine Five is delivered with the jumpers in the 0 position for full bass and treble.

200 to 300 hours of break-in are recommended for the Alumine Five. After this time, your Alumine Five speakers will have reached their full performance and will not change for many years to come. You should get through the break-in period before trying to find the definitive location for your loudspeakers.

Maintenance Your Alumine Five speakers will not require maintenance in normal usage. There is no serviceable part inside. Any attempt to open the speaker by non-authorized personnel will void the warranty. Use only a soft and dry cloth to remove any dust or marks as necessary. Avoid using abrasive or harsh cleaners as they may damage the surface.
