Follow the steps below to perform an automated install with an answer file:
1. Follow steps 1 through 5 from

3. Edit the file and add your organization's desired options.
4. Once the answer file is ready, use the
process from the command line:
./install.pl --answer-file=/tmp/answers.txt
The RHN Satellite Server Installation Program then looks for answers in the file. For any
option no filled out in the file, the Installer Program prompts the user for the missing
information.

4. Sendmail Configuration

If your RHN Satellite Server will serve Monitoring-entitled systems and you wish to acknowledge
via email the alert notifications you receive, you must configure sendmail to properly handle
incoming mail. This is required by the email redirect feature, which allows you to stop notifying
users about a Monitoring-related event with a single reply.
Important
Some more restrictive corporate mail configurations will not allow mail to be sent
from an address that is not recognized as valid. Therefore, it may be necessary
to configure
corporate environment. Check with your mail systems administrator.
To configure sendmail correctly, run the following commands as root. First, create a symbolic
link allowing sendmail to run the notification enqueuer with the following command:
ln -s /opt/notification/scripts/ack_enqueuer.pl /etc/smrsh/.
